I used to always find the idea behind speed running odd because to meet to just takes the fun out of the game I viewed it. But as I watched and watched as the years went on I found a certain charm in them that was hard to explain. Many of the times I would pick games that I played as a kid and I was kind of interested in seeing a bite size clip of one night, and then I would watch more and more. Then I started to watch speed runs of games I never played and maybe never had a interest in playing, and I found a charm in that too.
