The First Couple Far Cry Games Were The Best

I have fond memories of the original two Far Cry games when they originally game out they were quite ground breaking in the industry. Now only from a tech standpoint but from a creative standpoint and a lot of games followed their lead with those games, most famously Crysis. This is not to say the more recent games in the franchise are bad, because they are not. But they are lacking something, something that I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe it's just the games really have not reinvented themselves yet, and are doing more of the same. Really the recent games are not that amazing from a tech standpoint either, they more or less are just average games visually and scale wise. This is becoming a problem with games like the far cry new dawn android download and other more modern games nowadays.
